@mesh_gun Wow this is looking great! I'm so glad you were able to implement this based on the talks; that was the goal. It looks like you're using a 2D top-down sim, which is a great modification for a top-down game. Thanks for sharing! I'm excited for more updates :)
Last week I received THE coolest gift from my friend @TheRealBigFeel - A custom Lego set featuring my stop motion animation of Whistler! Of course, I went and made a stop motion of it in action! @LEGO_Group (1/3)
Hi🙌 This my wip on dynamic wind system, inspired by @TheRealBigFeel 's talk on GDC. I'm making it for the game Syncario (doesn't have twitter yet).
Great thanks for detailed talk, it's really deep enough to just sit down and make it.

If you've ever enjoyed throwing & recalling the Leviathan Axe, or twirling the chains of the Blades of Chaos in GOW'18, please take a moment to recognize that it was possible in large part to the engineering and energy of George Mawle, who sadly passed away on September 2nd, 2021
@alexgriendling @stublag my friend Colin made this blender tutorial. Don’t know if you’re looking to learn more but I got so much out of this in such a short time:
While I plan to only making them for my friends who are interested in learning Blender; I thought I would share my first video tutorial!
I feel this is a solid video on what its like to use Blender from my perspective. (language warning) (❤️Blender)

@HackerVilela It’s totally okay to take some time to mourn. Expecting yourself to be productive in a space that reminds of this tragedy while it’s still raw is asking a lot. Taking some time off to process things isn’t letting someone else win, it’s taking care of yourself. Here for you, man❤️

I had this idea to create a walkcycle with a specific rule. The rule I set up for this animation was to have the whole character consist of just 1 continuous line and to never have the line overlap itself.
Here are the new sprites inside the game just for kicks. Lisa added as an enemy since my max players count is 3 (could still add a third enemy type here). It's impractical to continue like this though, I need to improve NAW and use that to add metasprites. #nesdev#pixelart#nes
