I am all for giving the lowest class of earners a step up, an opportunity to earn more money...but have the proponents of a $15 minimum wage ever taken a basic economics class? If the person flipping the burgers goes from $10/hr to $15, how much will that burger then cost?

So if we raise the federal minimum wage across the board, the outcome will be the same for those getting the increase in funds. They still won’t be able to afford anymore of the most common things that they require, due to those prices rising in conjunction.

The only thing that is assured is that small business owners, who make up the majority of employers, will have to raise their prices to compensate for the greater expenses: employer paid taxes will rise, worker’s compensation insurance will rise, and their paid wages will rise.
