For someone who had no leverage whatsoever throughout this fiasco, this is outstanding work by the #Sens GM.

Ottawa not only has gotten stronger and more efficient throughout their forward corps for cheaper, they as well haven’t tied themselves to any new longterm contracts, paving the way for Jake Sanderson to get his bag before next off-season.

Say what you will about PD, he turned an unwinnable situation into a win somehow. That’s great management. Kudos to him.
