Signing Walker Kessler definitely makes up for the lack of movement we saw from Lakers FO over the past couple days, namely losing Smart and Kennard, but that’s a LOT of money tied up in 3 players. Roster still needs work. Hope Rob Pelinka knows what else he’s doing.

How do these refs review fouls and still get it wrong?? Jonquel Jones can elbow Tiffany Hayes in the face and get the call overturned to a defensive foul? Where is the contact before that? No wonder why all these WNBA players been up in arms.

Regardless of how this ends, it’s kind of sad how it’s been going. But both sides did it to themselves. Bron could have easily committed to retiring last year, Lakers could have marketed the 23 in 23 all year long. Now it’s a game of chicken. Not how a legend is supposed to exit.

Really don’t understand what some of these NBA teams are thinking. Charlotte Hornets just had their best season in a decade and very nearly made the playoffs, and they trade their franchise player in LaMelo Ball? Just when things were looking up for them?

If Alyssa Thomas isn’t assessed a technical or flagrant by the WNBA (don’t know how it wasn’t during the game), it’s an unserious league.

Officials have completely lost control of this Fever game. Started with the Caitlin/Bonner altercation and descended from there. They have no idea what a foul is or a technical foul is. Now you’ve got players throwing elbows, and now they have to reel it back in. Too late.

I haven’t seen a WNBA game choked away like this in quite some time. WHAT are the Chicago Sky doing? Up 6 with 35 seconds, you foul with the ball not inbounds, Cloud fouls Paige Bueckers on a 3, then Cardoso FOULS OUT?

These are the kinds of games that get coaches fired.

@BigRon614 The one on Cardoso she slapped her on the arm. Replay was quick but it was a foul. The Cloud one was questionable but I see stars in both leagues get that call all the time, only thing you can’t do is foul a 3pt, Tash was too close.

Rhyne Howard got away with 4 steps on that last basket vs Caitlin. She smartly went at Clark with the 5 fouls, but she hop stepped on the back foot before the final euro step. Refs missed the call, broadcast missed it in real time.
