Blind obedience is a mortal sin against nature!

By nature man is rational and must make decisions or assent to things with the use of reason.

Blind obedience contradicts this truth of nature.

It also is likened to the obedience of the devils to Lucifer, who obey in a purely servile fear.

The children God obey God while using their reason and discerning what truly is the will of God.

They had an apostolic mandate going back to saints Peter and Paul.

Take up Quo Primum if you want reference for the mandate/threat of not following it.

Indeed schism is a worse sin than homosexuality but it doesn’t apply here:

The unnatural couple goes against nature where lust (not children) is the object.

In the case of SSPX Bishops being consecrated they do it in belief and hope of salvation of souls (fecundity of children)

You cannot be truly punished for preserving souls from hell.

You don’t understand the first thing about the purpose of law:

“Suprema lex salus hominarum!”

“The supreme law is the salvation of men!”

@joshwhitlatch There's no such thing as individual faith. God's grace helps us live THE FAITH. Individuals are prideful and there's only one faith and it is found in the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church as given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ.
