not mad. just disappointed bc i told you multiple times how i feel about those things and you still choose to do the things i told you that affect me most.
another love language i have is SAFETY. feeling emotionally safe means knowing i can show up as my real self, with my imperfections, when i’m overwhelmed and even when i’m still figuring things out. i genuinely love a safe space.
meanwhile, I'm learning how to respond with calm instead of anger. I don't want to be right all the time i want to be understood. I don't want to prove a point, I want to build peace. That's growth for me now.
Respecting your partner is deeper than just staying faithful. Respecting your partner means to also respect their voice and allow them to be heard. Respect is communication.
Respect is avoiding the same mistakes or things you know will make your partner mad / sad.
Nobody is easy to be with. We all carry something..past hurt, habits, fears, and flaws. So when you meet someone who’s willing to stay committed to understanding you, who chooses patience, communication, and growth with you, don’t let ego or pride ruin it. Real connection takes effort, humility, and grace. Genuine love is rare, and growth together is even rarer. Protect what’s real. Remember that 🫵🏾🫂
Please stop calling people sensitive as an insult just because you don't have the emotional intelligence to understand things on a deeper level. This world needs sensitive people, empathy is a good trait to have.
Maturing is realizing when you’re in a relationship with someone who wants to grow with you, they will always bring up issues that don’t sit right with them to your attention.
It isn’t a personal attack; it is a sign that they value the relationship and want to make it work.
