@Dexerto If they had been able to approach the Radeon 8060S found in the highest end Ryzen AI mobile chip, they'd probably have had a real winner here. Seems like it's about HALF that. I do wonder how gimped this is because of the tiny form factor, power and noise limits to match PS5.

@Dexerto This should really cost no more than $800 tops. Valve is making a mistake by not trying to at least sell at cost. But I get it - consoles have built in subscription fees, game sales etc. For the Steam Machine, they would just have to HOPE you buy thousands in games for the fee..

@RNGingy Problem is if someone buys collection in bulk, you're definitely not getting full value. But then there's the leg work of selling everything for full price but listing, shipping etc. If the collection is big, I'd hunt for someone who will give you 80%+. But know your card prices!

@tarkovarena I suspect maybe this will be something we see different in future BSG titles, or in Fragmentary Order. That's also not to celebrate Battlefield's net code. But I do think that being very permissive of bullets leaving your gun at death is good. Nothing better than a sniper trade.

@tarkovarena Part of me thinks that main game / Arena need to be heavily modified. I have about 50 clips of me hitting a guy in the head, literally SEEING IT HIT HIS HEAD, me dying, zero hit count.

Prob me seeing it client-side, but already dead? BF does this well, readily allowing trades.

@ttyKi333218 @bearki Its just snake oil. It doesn't have the ability to do the things it claims. Also, I believe it has a built-in VPN that sort of helps you "ping abuse", where it'll report lower ping of course, but that's only because the server is closer. Your actual ping won't be any better.

@axel__tv Funny enough, as long as they maintained proper lighting, it probably would look kind of cool in Tarkov. Characters would probably be mangled, but environments would be very cool-looking.

Adding ray tracing like those Blender demos would be very cool but also break the gane.
