@paul_eggsNolan The antics between Trump and Iran remind me of rigged wrestling matches. Trump is in control & has Iran's shoulders pinned to the mat for 2 counts. When the ref is ready to reach count #3 , Trump lifts up Iran by their hair & the match goes back to square 1.
The U.S. oil paradox:The U.S. is a net exporter of petroleum products, but it remains a major importer of crude oil. To maximize efficiency, U.S. refiners import heavy crude—primarily from Canada and Mexico—and blend it with domestic light crude.
@paul_eggsNolan What's to keep China from sending factory ships to Iran. These ships could build missiles and re-arm Iran during the 60-day truce. They don't need land-based factories.
@paul_eggsNolan Remember being told that the war with Iran would soon end because Iran has very limited oil storage capacity. They would be forced to shut-in their wells. So here we are. Not hearing any talk about wells being capped.
@ericbolling You state that gas prices will remain high for some time after the Iran war subsides. It will take time for the high priced oil to drain out of the system. Explain then why prices rose so high so fast at the start of hostilities.Didn't low priced oil have to be used?
@ericbolling What America needs to do is build a new refinery that uses 100% American crude as its feedstock. This new refinery would be immune to blockage of the Straits of Hormuz.
@ericbolling They need to stop saying that Anerica is energy independent. If we were truly energy independent, we wouldn't be paying $4.50 for a gallon of gas.
