Apart from the initial public offering buyers. Why are companies so focused on increasing their stock for "investors" who own their stock but have not financially helped the company?
Companies need to stop focusing on stock price as these people do not help their company.

@Morware_ Air drag, inside the train you aren't being affected against an external source, such as the air the train is bailing through. So the trains momentum carries you with it. Outside the train, you are basically cutting through the wind. So when you jump this air pushes you.
