After fake ghee, now fake silk dupatta scam.

At Tirupati Temple, between 2015 and 2025, a supplier gave fake silk dupattas. The dupatta that actually cost only ₹350 was billed at ₹1300. The total supplies are expected to be more than ₹50 crore.

The dupatta supplied to the temple was polyester, but they billed it as pure mulberry silk.

I am slowly losing interest in everything.

My dear friends, family, and fellow citizens of Karimnagar,

Today marks a momentous day in my life and, I hope, in the history of our beloved region. It is with great humility and immense gratitude that I accept the Indian National Congress's nomination to represent Karimnagar as your Member of Parliament.

As many of you know, my roots in Karimnagar run deep. This is the land that nurtured me, the land where I grew up watching my grandfather Keshav Rao fight for India's freedom, and my father, Velichala Jagapathi Rao, tirelessly serve the people as an MLA. Their dedication to bringing electricity, water, and jobs to our people has been my guiding light.

I am deeply grateful to our visionary leader, @RahulGandhi ji, for his unwavering commitment to this country and his faith in me. Under his guidance, the @INCIndia party has emerged as a beacon of hope for the people of India, and I am honored to be a part of this transformative journey.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to our dynamic Telangana Chief Minister, @revanth_anumula garu, whose leadership has revitalized the state. His tireless efforts to uplift Telangana and his dedication to the welfare of its people are an inspiration to all.

I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our beloved Minister and Husnabad MLA, @PonnamLoksabha garu, whose guidance and mentorship have been invaluable to me as I step into this new role. And a huge thank you to Karimnagar Constituency MLA’s @AadiSrinivasINC garu, @DrKavvampally garu, Medipally Sathyam garu and Congress Party Incharges for their support and dedication to the people of Karimnagar.

To Bandi Sanjay, I say this: The people of Karimnagar are wise, resilient, and ready for change. I am ready to fight for their rights, aspirations, and future. Get ready for a battle like no other.

At my core, I am a son of the soil, a brother to every citizen, and a servant of our beloved Karimnagar. The struggles of our farmers, weavers, and youth are not just issues for me; they are the lived realities of my family.

Our vision is to create a Karimnagar where every person has access to world-class education, healthcare, skill training, and job opportunities. A Karimnagar with an international sports stadium that becomes the pride of Telangana.

As we embark on this journey, I am reminded of the countless sacrifices made by our people in the fight for Telangana statehood. As your MP, I pledge to ensure the fruits of this hard-won battle reach every corner of Karimnagar.

But we cannot do this alone. We need your support, trust, and participation. Together, we can make Karimnagar a model of development for the entire nation. We are not just asking for your vote; we are asking for your partnership in building a brighter future.
