@neiltyson i dont know how to mathematically prove this though, its just a natural thought that arose from one of your discussions in startalk or cosmic queries. I hope you look into this and we might be onto something if you can work out the math on this.
@neiltyson and once it burst and pop, this will be the end of the universe as we know it but the total energy release will trigger a new big bang and the formation of another universe or universes
@neiltyson .. it is just the natural consequence of the stretching of space-time continuum.. so just like an air/soap bubble, i think this expansion will not last forever and will at some point in the future will burst, hence the BIG POP
@neiltyson i think what has been called dark energy is just the sum total of all the energy initially exerted in the initial big bang and it is propagating thru space time continuum as we speak, making it appear that the galaxies are drifting from one another when ...
@neiltyson
The mystery of the expanding universe is just that its like a soap bubble.. the expansion is triggered by the initial big bang. Nothing more nothing less
@neiltyson what if the dark energy are just amplified gravitational waves as that travels in intergalactic spaces push galaxies generally away from each other?
Who wouldnt want to wake up with a view like this? Come to @mounte.ana in Negros Occidental in the philippnes for awesome morning views like this..
