@petitecycliste Oh I’m not here to tell you what’s small or large in terms of tires. What I was talking about was what I consider narrow which would be 30mm and under in my opinion. Apologies if I didn’t understand the question.
@fasc1nate When I was 12 I climbed Mt Morrison (English) in Taiwan. One of the guys in our group got altitude sickness. A local guide at the base camp created a seat out of wood and a sling to hold it on his forehead. Carried our guy down in the seat all the way to the bottom faster than us
Realizing I’m too old and my mind is playing tricks on me. I could have sworn I just heard the phrase “Iran-Contra” on Good Morning America. I looked up and it was just about Stormy Daniels. This isn’t some kind of deep political statement- I actually think I can’t hear.
@DennisChristo4 I was a child who lived in Bloomington when it was filmed/came out. The movie continues to instantly transport me to that point in time in my youth. You kissed my real life mailman in the movie. I now have businesses in the cycling industry in part because of this film
@BenjiNaesen Andy Hampsten- this image is what I saw within a month or two of me finding the sport. I identified with him. Firstborn is named after him. This poster hung over my truing stands when I started the wheel company 15 years ago.
1. Of course they did. 2. Still wouldn’t have happened with hooked rims. 3. Still true that road hookless ONLY benefits the manufacturer in reducing cost. Protect yourself. *will we eventually “get there” on this tech? Probably after being dragged there against our will.
@GuyDealership Me reading the replies and knowing I need something within the year hopefully. Also car finance friend in Chicago area said it’s seems slightly better than Jan but Jan sucked horribly
