Yell and throw things till the bear goes away. Fight back if it charges. Grizzly: be calm and submissive. Play dead if it charges. Polar bear: shit your pants.

@octolord1995 @rufusthefunky1 @ImpliedWisdom @pants_so_short Thank you. This is correct. Black bears are very good climbers. Grizzly bears are not and are unlikely to follow you up a tree. Easiest way to distinguish a grizzly is the shoulder hump. Tik Tok bear is definitely a grizzly.
