A reminder that the Spurs won 34 games last season and didn’t make the playoffs. In fact, they hadn’t been in the playoffs since the 2018-19 season. To go from that to beating the defending champs on the road in a Game 7, and now on to the NBA Finals is absolutely incredible.

It’s simple, when the refs swallow the whistle & allow them to play a physical, Spurs win. When every bit of contact gets called and the pace slows down, OKC wins.

Game 7 will ultimately come down to how the refs officiate the game and what they allow.
