Concerning the tragic events unfolding in Israel and Gaza, I am grief-stricken for the unspeakable suffering and loss of life and loved ones. This horrific violence must end. I have no answers obviously, but I feel it is absolutely necessary to focus on our shared human existence and reality. The sanctity of our common humanity will hopefully serve to heal the unimaginable wounds of division.

@realBobbyHealy It’s a lot more complicated that that. Israel has routinely killed Palestinians for decades and confiscated their land. Plus they are trying to control the judiciary and courts too to make it more favourable to Netenyahu as well but nobody is talking about that.

@LarryPDonnelly Not really. Palestinians are treated as stateless 2nd class citizens. No rights. Can’t vote. Land confiscated. Plus Israel was trying to manipulate the judiciary and rule of law to suit Netenyahu too. Problem is post WW2 and the genocide countries are bending over backwards

It’s awful what’s happening in the world with wars. Ukraine, Syria, Yemen, a couple of conflicts in Africa and now Israel. But thinking, what’s the point of a green agenda when the explosions and fires in these wars negate any climate action anyway. We’ve destroyed the planet.
