Final confirmation of arrests , Dr Uzma Khan and Noreen Khanum, along with Dr Uzma’s son Azeem, Aleema Khan’s sons Shahrez and Sher Shah, Noreen Khanum’s daughter Sakina, two female staff members and the family’s chef Mustafa malik , have all been arrested and taken to an undisclosed location.

Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan was snatched off the streets of Lahore. Family phones went dead. Her car appeared at a police station. Only then did the regime tell the media she had been arrested.
There was no fresh criminal case that justified grabbing her this morning. They used 3-MPO, preventive detention without charge,to disappear a woman whose only offense is speaking for her imprisoned brother.
This is how Field Marshal Asim Munir and his fellow generals are turning Pakistan into another North Korea, pick up family members first, invent the paperwork later, and dare the world to notice.

My mother, Aleema Khan, was abducted after leaving home this morning. Our family has had no contact or news of her whereabouts. She is on bail in all cases against her in Lahore. We demand the government immediately disclose her whereabouts and ensure her safe return.

Today, my aunt, Aleema Khan, has been abducted by police in Lahore. Our family has been told nothing about where she has been taken. Her family and lawyers cannot reach her.

This is the behaviour of a fascist government - abducting people, terrorising families and trampling human rights, due process and the rule of law while pretending to stand for democracy.

First they imprisoned my father. Now they are coming after his family.

We demand immediate access to her for her family and lawyers, full disclosure of where she is being held, and her immediate release.

The world cannot keep looking away from what is happening in Pakistan.
