@thestateoflou 2-way all the 1 way streets and simplify zoning ordinance. Not a one size fits all solution but having entire swaths of downtown be only parking lots and single-use office buildings doesn’t lend to a vibrant 24-hour community.
@Keith_Wynne Bailey was a walk on this year. Could stay that way, leaving one spot open. Or we don’t have to assume they’ll limit to 5 qb scholarships every year. Maybe they deviate, maybe not
@OyyyeeeCorito86@Keith_Wynne Backup behind Herbert at Oreg. Then led in 2020 to 4-3 and winning pac-12. Has had different injuries last 3 years at TTU. Maybe unlucky. 6’5 and looks like more downhill runner than Plummer. 🤷maybe “experienced back up” option with our older guys (JP, BD, EC) leaving.
@BiggestBiscuit Solid half. Announcers are right that the overthinking is leading to bad decisions. But better to make mistakes at full speed than be hesitant. On-ball pressure is really good.
From me: The spike in manufacturing construction since the passage of 2 key industrial-policy laws is rapidly putting to rest a concept that has been embedded into the old understanding of the economy: that public investment crowds out private investment.

@BudElliott3 No idea what they will do but with the $21MM of the $80MM that was recently clawed back, IRS has already stated they are gonna pull that money forward. Meaning as of now they’ll hit a cliff of no new money come 2031, rather than taking a small hit starting this fiscal year.
@BiggestBiscuit@Keith_Wynne Yeah fair enough. Well hey maybe the hype will lead to fewer instances of misnaming our players on network coverage or draft highlight tapes **he typed knowing that it’s a 60% chance in our opening game that the tv coverage will call him Jake Plummer**
@Keith_Wynne@BiggestBiscuit Honestly at this stage of the year, I chalk a good bit of if up to general laziness about any particular media member’s knowledge of our program. Plummer isn’t a known ACC quantity like Leary, Hartman, or even Jurkovec.
