You see it with Poppy Playtime as a recent example. Hiding crucial tapes and cassettes in obscure places.
But even Hello Neighbor 1 did it, by having important story elements portrayed in scenes you could only access on a random chance after being caught. 2/2
This is why these people are called influencers.
It isn't uncommon at all to see devs "influenced" by content online, and end up harming their games because of it. Both directly AND indirectly.
Like games hiding important lore for "theory bait/hunts", or whatever. 1/2
am i crazy or isnt game theory a big contributor to the "issues" mascot horror has?? People wanting to confuse theorists and make the lore complex so they get videos made of it and stuff
Hello friends,
#HelloNeighbor3 pre-Alpha is now live, and really focuses on the core progression and narrative of the game. Weโd really love your feedback!
Watch the new Dev Diary and try out the pre-Alpha here: https://t.co/tUheAs1H3p
Here's some old stuff I did with the original Hello Neighbor Mod Kit.
Mind you, I don't think anything close to this will be possible with the new Slop Kit, and I know for a fact people have done huge projects in the past that it isn't capable of.
