@RulerInPink Mario would then go into great detail about the remaining parts of the film as they sat by the fireplace. Half an hour would pass as he explained the film to her.

T'was a cloudy day in the Mushroom Kingdom, it was looking like it could storm at any second. Mario was in the outskirts of Toad Town by the local park. The wind was beginning to pick up as he finally decided to make his way

He rolled his eyes.

"The real horror of the film! We haven't even gotten to the spooky parts!" He chuckled.

@RulerInPink "Really now? Seemed to me you were scared stiff!" He chuckled.

"Shame really, we haven't even gotten to the good part!"

@RulerInPink "I'm-a sure they're alright. Let's just get this fireplace going!"

Mario made his way towards the fireplace, tossing in a few logs.

@RulerInPink "Might be helpful if you light the candle next to the couch. Should be on the table, light the candle and we'll go from there."

Mario explained as he made his way back to the living room slowly, going around in the dark.

@RulerInPink "Ah well, with the power out and cold rain outside, we best get the fireplace going!"

@RulerInPink Mario would get up from under the comfort of the blanket and made his way towards the rear of the house. He opened the power panel and flipped the main switch a few times, but with no successful result.

"Well, seems the power is out. Right at the good point in the movies too!'

@RulerInPink He'd also jump in response.

"Storm must've tripped the breaker. I'll go check it out, if that's alright with you?"

@RulerInPink Almost as if being perfectly timed, there was a bright flash followed by intense thunder that took out the power plunging the house into darkness, only illuminated by the light coming from the windows.

@RulerInPink "Of course, makes the viewing a lot better."

The movie would start. About forty minutes in, the movie was beginning to come up on a suspenseful part.

He'd begin the movie and sat on the couch next to Peach.

@RulerInPink "Yeah, I-a got one! This one will he perfect! What snacks did you grab-" he stopped as he turned to her, seeing that she grabbed pretty much everything.

"Guess we won't be running out of snacks anytime soon!" He chuckled.

@RulerInPink "A scary one, eh? Now you're talking! Let's get everything set up!"

Mario would head off to the television in the living room as he'd start scanning for a movie to watch.

"There's bags of popcorn and snacks in the kitchen if you wanna grab some."

"Yeah, no-a point in even thinking about it. We're gonna be stuck here for a good bit, I'm afraid."
