@ertuh2782 Idk what source this is but it's false to say the opposition had aid for the march 1992 coup attempt. Umar Avtorkhanov was literally in Moscow begging for aid when it started. The only one who provided any help was individually Khasbulatov, and in small quantities.

@ertuh2782 Russian aid for the opposition didn't begin until after the beheadings. Russia's main ally was Avturkhanov, who was a veteran policeman trying to restore law and order. Labazanov was mostly helped by Khasbulatov.
Also civil war began in 93 with Dudayev massacring theatre square.
