@SEGASoundTeam 66 years young and so many more to go! I will have my fingers crossed that by 100 we will have many more physical releases of great SEGA game soundtracks!
After a load of tests and timing changes on music, thanks to @JohnBunday (with some help on audio timing/tests from me) we have two new hacks for #MegaDrive - PAL Streets of Rage 3 with the music optimised to NTSC speed & BK3 translated with the same music hack converted to PAL!
@YoSoyNach0@JohnBunday It was finally solved by some persistent side by side and noticing where the music was slowing down to nail down the timing change. Some intuition with background percussion as well showed that the PSG channels hadn't been sorted so some of it was unsynched. A fun project!
The Bare Knuckle PAL conversion with audio fix can be obtained here : https://t.co/TIG1e5nqh9
Please note this uses the EXISTING translation courtesy of Twilight Translations. We claim no credit to the translation and this is merely a hack & conversion of their existing hack.
Anybody with stock PAL hardware can now play these games with the correct music with no mods to their machines. Photos here were taken by me on my phone from a TV running both on a PAL MegaDrive 1. The PAL hack can be obtained from:

Happy Birthday to the phenomenal #SEGA So many great systems, games, toys, comics and memories associated with this company who have always remained a firm favourite of mine. Here's to many more years of blasting, jumping, racing, puzzling & scoring!

@_TheImpureKing_ I know about the 4 pics limit, just think an incredibly early one, some middle of the road and a modern one would have much better put the intention across as in this case "always" looks to be the 2000s(ISH) onwards ๐
@swooper_d@ColonelFalcon it was great at the time as I'd not played Sonic Fighters, had none of the Game Gear games and it was easier then playing R on PC for me at the time.
CD was...there I guess and the only way I had to play it at the time but as soon as I got a different version I dropped it quick
@UnpluggedRetro@NES_Professor Latter isn't strictly 100% correct - Evercade STARTED as a handheld but it does have console versions too
They do company themed collections on cartridge (like a Bitmap Brother collection, or 2 or 3 Atari collections etc)
