@YouNotGonnaWin this is literally why I say video game characters are stronger than both TV, and comic book characters. they can preform feats that interact with IRL structures rather than fictional representations of the PC

also I really dont get why you're saying it doesn't literally bring you back the life when 1-ups acknowledged to be a thing in the Mario universe.

it's not like they're cosmetics or anything.
even in paper mario there are mentions of poisonous 1-ups
