@ChibRisky But the argument is obviously show to show not hypothetically peaks as we never truly see either at their peaks in the shows as they are both still young by the ends of their shows. So it based on what we see and obviously a 70's katara is much more skilled than 14 y.o katara.
@ZeroRegalia@OfficialTresure@OP_senju Its her second most used element after fire. It also makes sense as you always have access to fire and air but actually end water or earth around to bend them. Thats also ignoring the fact that aang actually does only use one element for 95% of his series.
@Fritz_tamer@SpookyGhost8413@ficcyworld450 And your proof is? Cause tenzin at the end of season 2 specifically tells her that he has nothing left to teach her. Which is weird for her air bending master to say if she hadnt mastered airbending. Plus there's this
@Fritz_tamer@SpookyGhost8413@ficcyworld450 Its not a fact, they had different styles of teaching and going by your logic korras a more gifted air bender than aang because she only learned it and became a master in under a year while aang took 12. Its stupid.
@Fritz_tamer@SpookyGhost8413@ficcyworld450 What does this disprove? She wasnt known to be the avatar at this point, had no training and specifically didnt practice becasue she was all power, no finesse so she was embarrassed and didnt wanna cause any destruction.
@heisola13 Thats ignoring that he was the heir to the throne of the northern watertribe and is the reason that unalaq becomes the the chief. So it's never confirmed but is plausible but we dont know that arnook ever had any other kids so the throne couldve passed to another family memeber.
@Fritz_tamer@SpookyGhost8413@ficcyworld450 Thats also because its a show that wasnt as interested on focusing on the struggles of learning the elements as season 1 of korra was. The fact that korra could already bend 3 elements by the time she was 4 years old while aang couldnt should then be a HUGE boost for her, right?
@SpookyGhost8413@ficcyworld450 But we see tophs first students werent even master earthbenders. They were just other kids who could bend earth. Aang being a master should've been easier and that doesnt even acknowledge that he had over 50 years to learn.
@Fritz_tamer@SpookyGhost8413@ficcyworld450 Aang struggled with both fire and earth because of his mentality.
Korra mastered air and was a fully realised avatar at the beginning of season 2 and finally gets tenzins acknowledgment at the end of season 2. She was also just given time to master the elements unlike aang.
@Fritz_tamer@SpookyGhost8413@ficcyworld450 Kyoshi also didnt take weeks, it took her a few days with rangi to produce a flame because they had to keep it hidden from the trope that she could firebend.
@Fritz_tamer@SpookyGhost8413@ficcyworld450 Kyoshi never had any training and once she did and also had her fans she picked up the other elements very fast and also was, atleats, very proficient in all four within a year.
Korra had no freedom and once she did, shemastered air in a few months.
Yangchen was a master by 17.
@SpookyGhost8413@ficcyworld450 I'm not saying aang is a worse earth bender than the lowest of metal bender but I'm showing that because its such a relatively common sub-bending style that he still could never learn while korra picked it up in minutes is obviously a positive for her being a better earthbender.
@_eastOrb Except for when she talks about it being difficult because air want to fill the void and is always fighting to get in. Creating a vacuum is very hard to do because the pressure of all that air is ALOT.
