Please spare me the whole "this isn't Canada" rhetoric. A synagogue shot up on the holiest day of the Jewish calendar is exactly what Canada has become.

The reason is clear, moral cowardice.

Whether it's politicians equivocating on the legality of hate rallies against Jews, or university faculty spreading hate under the guise of academic inquiry, society's response of a collective shrug is what has brought us to this dark place.

Until our institutions find the moral courage to rid themselves of those who propagate hate, this darkness will continue to spread.

Europe’s net zero energy security

Russia funded European ‘green’ parties for two decades. China pushed renewables while building 5x the coal-fired capacity of the rest of the world combined.

Now Russia uses fuel and China uses renewables to control European energy and economics.

- Germany sold its energy security to Russia, even shutting down nuclear. Now they depend on Russia or Qatar to function, and their manufacturing can’t compete with coal-fired Chinese industrials.

- the UK won’t develop its vast gas or oil supplies driving energy prices to 6x what Americans pay, and giving control over the entire “renewable” energy system to China.

Net Zero: a dying ideology that captures Europe in a security net held by Russia and China - while doing zero for the planet.
