Arrogance & Ignorance was originally written as a diss to Snowblind, the band that kicked John and Adi out. The original lyrics were "Snowblind died but Rock Eyes saved it". The band names were later replaced with "The Beatles" and "Oasis"

John came up with the idea of the name "Rock Eyes" during a study session that he was not enjoying. After the study, John brought the name up to Adi and the rest was history. This is the original paper on which John sketched his ideas for the Rock Eyes' logo.

Here's one of the band performing Johnny B. Goode before the album version, and Adi reminding John to play the "jazz one" before remembering it was called Autumn Leaves. (Now featuring previously unheard lyrics!)

and the supervising teacher on drums. It was certainly not the cleanest session, and those two songs on YouTube were the only two "listenable" tracks. But I don't think being kicked out of a band mattered to us, I always wanted to lead a band, and that was more important. (2/2)
The first "proper" Rock Eyes rehearsal took place on the 27th of January, 2022. It was less than a week since Adi and I found out we were kicked from our previous band, Snowblind. I took up the guitar and vocals, Adi on bass, (1/2)

We knew it was hard for Jasmine to play on stage, so it was good that we finally found Nicky. And that's how the Rock Eyes lineup with finalized. (2/2)
Even after Michael had joined on Keyboards, we desperately needed a fourth member to play bass. We didn't really know anyone else so Jasmine, a good friend of ours, tried out on bass for a few sessions. Eventually, Michael suggested Nicky as he played the guitar before. (1/2)
and we didn't know the other members Michael and Nicky. Even when we were kicked out of Snowblind the next year, it was just me and Adi for the first month or so. We wrote many songs together and hung out a bunch - John (2/2)
This is the first video of the "Rock Eyes". It was before the idea of the band even existed. We weren't called the Rock Eyes, it was just me and Adi hanging out and playing funny songs. We were still in the band Snowblind at this point, (1/2)

The original tracklist for the Discontinued album looked a little different. This CD mockup was made only days before the recording session, and the final tracklist was decided on during the session. We ended up not playing Get Back because we were under rehearsed (1/2)
It was instead replaced with a filler song titled "Filteration". The track Autumn Leaves also had an alternate title and was going to be the final track. The tracklist was designed by Adi the drummer, and was designed on a napkin paper with John's pen. (2/3)
These are the original Polaroids used for the cover of the Why Do I Dream Of You single. The polaroid depicts a photo of the band during their only live performance, the original mockup of the Discontinued CD tracklist, a vinyl record, and John's red checkered shirt.
The rehearsal took place in such a small room because by the end of the year, the college had removed our access to the big rehearsal space if we weren't being supervised. Nevertheless, we pushed through!
This rehearsal was done only TWO DAYS after the first and the only Rock Eyes live performance. Our dear friend Nima P. joined us on vocals, and after Michael got a few of the parts mixed up, it devolved into us all singing as if it was karaoke.
