It's here! The North Tapes; The Music of Rogue North is out now on bandcamp! All of the music I had the privilege of making for @TheRogueNorth with my good friend and mentor, the legendary @chuck_salamone
Though the game was never completed, we hope you enjoy

I know this is probably a bit of a shock, we just put out a devlog 2 weeks ago. But yes the game is unfortunately ceasing development indefinitely. Its been a wild ride! Continue to stick around for a little bit while we put together the soundtrack for you all! Thank you!
SPRITE STACKING, what is it? Why do we use it? Idk but maybe this video explains it. NEW DEVLOG OUT NOW! #gamedev#gamemaker

I've just successfully extrapolated normal vectors from gms collision meshes (orange indicator)
The system is imperfect but has solvable issues at the moment
I'll have to make a video on how this works, this has been a holy grail issue for a long time at least for me
@1pxlchibs Now I have the problem of portraying how the weight of snow creases tarps, and how to make a messy pile of sticks look good with a thin layer of snow. So in the end it might actually be a bit harder lmao
Also the real actual reason as to why the game became winter themed, is I struggled so much with drawing the tiled roofs of houses and gravel roofs of shops lol. It was much easier to just use the paint bucket tool than to try and texture things
