Biggest advice I can give any aspiring trader. Learn how to not trade.
Being able to identify when you should be staying away. Actual trading is small fraction of our jobs
@noonelikeme81@AdamMancini4@Kamil70154936 Get the newsletter. He only takes the trades from there, and they are always given out beforehand. If you're just following on x then you're missing the good stuff.
Look at it this way. Candle before the low. Touched 85 (beginning acceptance) next candle swept the support. Then big green candle reclaiming 85 support. We remained above support and tapped 85 again (rejecting lower), and still kept staying above support. Don't look into it too hard. Pre plan the area, and only enter if the pattern happens at the area. Always the n shape either above or right at the support being recovered. Hope that helps ๐
@RogerDeReu@AdamMancini4 Re read the methodology. Shallow FB. 5-10min. Now go look at a 1min chart and count how many minutes it took ๐คฏ absolutely textbook on this one
@Tandyman0@AdamMancini4 Just as Adam does, I do not use a hard stop unless I am not at the computer, just exit manually. Yes I give it breathing room, key is dont ever over leverage yourself so you can
@RealJohnDough@AdamMancini4 because when your short, your going to miss the long opportunity. just because its trending down does not mean we dont get failed breakdowns.
@1MINUTETIP Hold a runner specifically for that reason and only let it trail out. When you still have some skin in the game it changes your mentality. If it trends you get a small bonus
@WallStreetMav Probably true, I've worked on homes all over the Eastside the past 20 years, the demographic of people has totally changed these past numbers of years
@Kellyanntrades@UncleBugatti@patrickwieland@Topstep If you remember when he and topstep parted ways, he had not secured a large payout with any firm, or been moved to a live acct. His success has only been more recently after he had agreed to keep his mouth shut
I'd say yes and no, but... All the orb does is give you levels (which can be derived without the orb) and you must still wait for reactions of levels for entry. I'd say the orb is for lazy traders who don't want to put in time for analysis of deriving levels to watch for reactions. It would be best used as a confluence with levels you have already done analysis on to engage at, but again must always wait for reactions off of levels. Don't know why anyone would use the orb blindly.
@AdamMancini4 once we tagged 11 and trapped again my confidence of the FB went up. As that created the rubber band :) Thanks for those precise levels Adam!
I adopted this policy for the whole last calendar year, only had a small handful of shorts, 4 or 5 if I remember. They were more out of necessity of getting a trade for the day as I didn't see the FB happening till the next day. Probably the best move I ever made. Changed mentality completely.
@patrickwieland Followed Patrick for quite some time. Like every trader, there's ups and downs. He is correct here though. Has told the truth about affiliates many times. And his show is quite entertaining I keep coming back for more
@AdamMancini4@Cyrisha__ Why all the way to 0? I understand the frequency isn't there comparatively, but if they're successful why 0? Personally I have found times where I don't want to short because I am still waiting to go long, and runners are far more successful during longs
