@DetroitPodcast All I know is they probably could’ve made a pretty good Super Bowl run if they traded those picks at the 2023 deadline and now they’re no better off having held on to them.
@officialctpod I’m not sure he wants to play based on how he was talking at the end of the season. The Lions would have made him pay back his unused signing bonus if he retired, so he wanted to be cut instead. Another team would need to make it financially beneficial for him to play again.
@LionsSyndicate Which scenario is more likely next year? Lions win the Super Bowl? Or Lions go 6-11? Deep down we all know the party’s over, but it’s a tough pill to swallow.
@Section344Lions Decker’s not playing 100% of snaps regardless but they could also go with someone like Cayden Green who can play inside or outside so that Mahogony would only be needed when Decker’s out.
@woodwardsports You look how good the Rams are now despite how much they gave up in that trade. Just imagine how good they’d be if they DIDN’T give up all of that draft capital.
They basically traded a dynasty for a 1 and done.
@BenVerlander Read between the lines. They signed Valdez to be their NEW top of the rotation lefty. This is the most clear signal the Tigers could give us that Tarik is Skuby-gone.
