I used to work at @BrookCharity in education and training; and have also worked in sexual violence support - was trained by @RapeCrisisEandW.

My advice:

• Work out what you can do

• Join in. Do your bit

• Not just online if poss. IRL is (usually) more important

• Don’t just be on Twitter shouting into the void (note to self)

• Hashtags are handy though, it’s okay

• Support your local @SistersUncut

It’s frightening to see racism towards Muslim women in France and across Europe getting legalised.

If you haven’t seen @tezilyas latest then check it out. Even the bleakest of times can be made into something hilarious.

If you don’t follow @mskahin1 you really should.

It means asking difficult questions like - what does diversity really mean? Are we using language correctly - diverse to whom? Diverse in what way?

Who are ‘we’? Who are we including? Who gets to make the decisions about who is included?

It also means helping organisations/employers improve Equity-Diversity-Inclusion.

That means @TheRowanTreeUK can help you pay attention to #antiracism #BlackLivesMatter #TransRightsAreHumanRights #MeToo #DisabilityRights & more marginalised groups; in a way that is proactive.
