Another gem from Madhya Pradesh.

A few days ago, CM Mohan Yadav boasted that MP had again topped the country in wheat procurement at MSP, procuring 1.04 crore metric tonnes from 1.34 million registered farmers.

Turns out, this figure was reached because a network of fake farmers and govt officials collaborated to scam his govt. Between March 5 and March 10, when fraudsters took advantage of the closing window for state wheat procurement registration. During late-night and early-morning hours, they created fake farmer profiles on the state portal. Local revenue officials, including Patwaris and Tehsildars, bypassed mandatory physical verifications and validated these fake registrations without checking actual land-share agreements.

With the fraudulent profiles successfully approved, the scammers purchased cheap wheat from the open market in neighboring states and brought it to govt procurement centers across MP. They passed off this cheap grain under the fake profiles to exploit the state's higher MSP rate of ₹2,585 per quintal along with govt bonuses and earned anywhere between ₹400 - ₹700 per quintal of profit.

The Economic Offences Wing of the state has initiated an investigation into the matter.

– Caste discrimination is real, don’t pixelate it. But discrimination of every kind has always existed. Fixating the lens only on caste while ignoring others is selective outrage.

– The core problem is the state officially freezing caste categories for life. Once branded, you’re stuck forever.

– You can't demand reservation purely on birth while attacking Varnashrama Dharma for being birth-based. Those two positions cannot coexist.

– Post-Mandal, we got the Mandalization of the Hindu community, not its consolidation. Hindus are now fighting like rats among themselves.

– The same voices never seriously pursue caste annihilation. Their entire electoral arithmetic begins and ends with jati.

– Remedial measures are needed but strike a balance. The current extreme skew is destroying social cohesion among Hindus.

Meena proportion in ST population is 4.5%, while they take 48% seats which is 10 times more than their population%.

So when they say "Reservation is for representation", ask-

So listen up, people.

Between now and 2029, expect one agitation after another. One protest will end; another will begin. The objective is relentless pressure.

Who knows one attempt might even succeed… or it might not.

Either way, the effort will be persistent and unceasing.

That said, our own legitimate demands for reform and I stress legitimate: in education, the judiciary, and the police must not stop but pursued with equal determination.

Having said that, what worries me most are those who lose heart at the first sign of resistance.

Those who immediately begin writing long, mournful obituaries about how everything is lost, how all hope has vanished, and how, despite being “supporters,” they now have no choice but to vote for someone else.

If that’s your solution, spare us the death wish.

No one ever said changing the trajectory of a country that had grown accustomed to complacency - a sleepy dog content with a bone and a pat on the head - would be easy.

And then, to make matters even more inconvenient for the world, a billion people decided to stand up and identify themselves openly as Hindu in a world where only Christians and Muslims seemed entitled to wear their faith publicly.

Jews, meanwhile, have had more than enough bigotry to contend with from both sides.
As for Buddhists, they were allotted a tiny, token space because, well, Richard Gere made them fashionable for a while.

Even that enthusiasm appeared to cool once it became clear that championing the Dalai Lama also meant irritating China.

But Hindus did not retreat. We stood up to be counted.

The irony is delicious for a nation once mocked for its “Hindu rate of growth” now stands among the world’s fastest-growing major economies.

So understand what this is.
It is a marathon, not a sprint. Strap in. Stay the course.

Your children and one day theirs, will judge whether this generation had the resolve to finish what it started.

Being a reserved category student, I understand the issue from both sides. I paid only 25k fee, while some of my classmates paid around 1.5 lakh. I also received a 60k scholarship, which made a huge difference bcz my family is financially struggling.

But I also know people from well-off families who received the same scholarship despite not needing that level of financial support. That's where I feel the system should be more financial need based.

Rita Tikku is a cancer survivor. She is a senior citizen.

In 2006, she and her husband Lokaish Tikku booked a flat in Parsvnath Exotica, Sector 53, Gurugram.

They paid the entire ₹1.78 CR.
Possession was due in February 2013.
Today is 2026.
They have never seen the inside of that flat.

They approached HRERA in 2021. HRERA ruled in their favour and ordered compensation. The builder did not even bother to challenge that order. He simply did not pay. And nothing happened to him for not paying.

So they filed execution proceedings. The Gurugram Collector could not recover a single rupee. HRERA issued arrest warrants. The warrants were never executed. The bailiff went to the builder's premises and was physically stopped from entering. The local police were called in. They did not help.

Sit with that for a second. HRERA ordered. Builder ignored. Collector failed. Bailiff blocked. Police did nothing. A cancer survivor and her husband, both retired, watched every arm of the enforcement chain fail them, one after the other.

In this city, an HRERA order is a zebra crossing. It exists on paper. The stripes are painted on the road. Everybody can see them. Nobody stops. Not the builder. Not the collector. Not the police. And nobody in the system is willing to make them stop.

That is why Rita and Lokaish, 20 years into their wait, had to walk into the Supreme Court of India to ask for a flat they had already paid for in full in 2006.

On 13 July 2026, the Supreme Court froze the builder's bank accounts. It froze the personal accounts of every director. It issued bailable warrants. And Chief Justice Surya Kant said something every Gurugram buyer needs to read twice.

He said the collectors and local police had "either colluded with the builder or failed to discharge their responsibility." He said the whole country had been duped. He said the execution proceedings had "become an exercise in futility."

That is the Chief Justice of India, on record, saying the enforcement machinery for HRERA orders in Haryana is broken. Not slow. Not overloaded. Colluding. Or failing. His words.

On 20 July, the Court gave the builder one week. Deposit the full amount with 12 percent interest, or the directors go to jail. Next hearing is on Monday.

A buyer walks into a Gurugram sales gallery today. RERA number on the wall. Big builder name on the brochure. Loan approved by a national bank. Every green tick a careful buyer is trained to look for.

Rita and Lokaish had all of it. Full payment on time. Documented agreement. Correct forum approached in the correct order. HRERA order in their favour. Execution filed. Warrants issued.

None of it protected them. The HRERA order did not force payment. Execution did not force recovery. Arrest warrants did not force arrest. It took a Supreme Court freeze on the builder's accounts, and a jail threat, after 20 years, for anything to move at all.

Your due diligence does not save you in Gurugram. Your fight does not save you. Winning at HRERA does not save you. The order is real. The stripes are painted on the road. Nobody stops.

And a cancer survivor still does not have the home she paid for in 2006.

Taiwan solved tax evasion in 1951 with a trick so cheap it should embarrass every tax authority on the planet.

The problem was an all-cash economy full of small shops. A merchant pockets the cash, skips the receipt, and the sale never existed. Auditors can't catch what was never recorded, and hiring enough of them to watch every noodle stand costs more than the missing tax.

So finance chief Ren Xianqun flipped the incentive. Print a lottery number on every receipt. Draw winners every two months on live TV. Top prize today: NT$10 million, about $310K.

Suddenly the customer and the shopkeeper want opposite things. The merchant wants the sale off the books. The customer wants the ticket. And there are millions more customers than merchants. Every transaction now carries a built-in witness demanding the paper trail.

Year one, reported tax revenue jumped 75%, from NT$29 million to NT$51 million. Seventy-five years later, roughly 70% of Taiwanese still play. Convenience stores redeem the smallest NT$200 prizes at the register, so even a coffee receipt feels like a scratch card.

The elegant part is what the audit force costs. The prize pool runs about NT$7 billion a year, roughly $20 million. In exchange, the government gets 23 million unpaid auditors working every checkout line in the country, forever. No inspector general on earth delivers that coverage at that price.

Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Slovakia all copied it. The most effective compliance tool ever built looks like a game, and that's exactly why it works.

The 1978 Ranga-Billa case involved the brutal kidnapping and murder of teenage siblings Geeta and Sanjay Chopra in Delhi by career criminals Kuljeet Singh (Ranga) and Jasbir Singh (Billa).

The horrific crime shocked the nation, leading to a massive manhunt and the swift conviction of both killers, who were ultimately hanged in 1982.

The investigation was led by Inspector VP Gupta of the Delhi Police, with SI Ram Chander serving on the team. A bystander, who had tried to save the children, and later helped the police identify the killers by providing their descriptions was Babulal. The journalist who covered the case was Prabha Dutt.

Amazon Prime's series Raakh, which is based on this incident, replaces Inspector VP Gupta with SI Jayprakash Jatav, explicitly portrayed as a Dalit officer navigating institutional bias. Furthermore, SI Ram Chander is replaced by SI Javed Murtaza, Babulal by Saleem, and Prabha Dutt by Nisar, while a lazy hawaldar character named Mishra has been added to the narrative.

This isn't creative liberty. Creative liberty is meant to enhance a story, not distort historical facts to fit a specific ideological agenda. Another stark reminder of how easily history can be rewritten in plain sight under the convenient guise of creative freedom.

Yes, comparing Modi era with Nehru’s is right. Not to do so would be injustice to millions who suffered because of Nehru.

For example, Hindu Bengali refugees. Their children, grandchildren must never forget that their people were abandoned and thrown to the wolves by Jawaharlal Nehru before, during and after Partition.

Nehru despised dark-skinned Hindu Bengali refugees, among them my father, his siblings, their widowed mother and grandmother, fleeing rapacious and murderous Muslim League mobs in East Bengal; he did not want them to seek shelter in India.

Nehru wrote to CM BC Roy, instructing him not to let Hindu Bengali refugees enter West Bengal. Push them back from the border, Nehru said, don’t let them in.

Nehru insisted Hindu Bengalis of East Bengal / East Pakistan were coming to India for free-loading at the expense of Indians. He cut back Central funds for West Bengal to stop the meagre refugee assistance by way of a couple of kilos of inedible worm-infested rotten rice for Hindu Bengalis.

Hindu Bengali refugee women and children separated from their families, or widowed and orphaned in the Noakhali genocide and subsequent Partition Massacre of Hindus, rummaged in garbage bins and pitifully begged for morsels of food.

Hindu Bengali refugee children in rags with dark large sad eyes greedily licked on used banana leaves dumped on the streets by eateries, also known as ‘pice hotels’ in Kolkata parlance, of which there was a profusion in the post-War years. Emaciated babies and rickety children of Hindu Bengali refugees huddled with stray dogs on pavements.

Many Hindu Bengali refugees lived on ‘rice water’ or ‘fan’ (the starchy water that is thrown away after boiling rice) collected from homes of compassionate Bengalis who had little food to share.

In the morning and evening there were pheriwallahs hawking their wares; in the afternoon there were Hindu Bengali refugee women in tattered sarees that barely covered their bodies and naked children with battered and bruised aluminium pots going from house to house, begging for ‘rice water’: “Ma, fan daao Ma…”

Those voices of has hunger were to haunt Hindu Bengali refugees like my parents for long, often till death.

Driven by hate for Hindu Bengali refugees, Nehru ordered horrifyingly, nauseatingly squalid and disease-ridden refugee camps to be named ‘Permanent Liability Camps’ or PLCs — PLC 1, PLC 2… — reminiscent of the ‘Permanent Solution Camps’ of the Nazis.

When despite his best efforts Nehru failed to push back the Hindu Bengali refugees to be slaughtered in East Bengal/East Pakistan, Nehru brought his devastating Freight Equalisation Policy which collapsed industry in West Bengal. Tens of thousands of jobs were destroyed and the Hindu Bengali was rendered jobless: Those who lost their jobs and businesses began turning on Hindu Bengali refugees just as Nehru had hoped.

Yet Nehru could not break the spirit of the Hindu Bengali refugees who were grateful to Bharat and determined to help rebuild this great nation savaged by invaders and colonisers especially John Company.

Through generations we Hindu Bengali refugees toiled, we built, we paid taxes, we sacrificed for the Nation, our Nation, we succeeded in establishing ourselves as dutiful, law-abiding, loyal citizens of India. Having lost our home and hearth, we had no other home but India.

We Hindu Bengali refugees were hived off to malaria-infested inhospitable Dandakaranya and we cleared forests and made the soil fertile. We were packed off to Andaman and we rebuilt our lives there. When we tried to set up home at Marichjhapi we were slaughtered: the estuaries turned red with our blood.

We grieved, we got up, we overcame that setback.

We lived with dignity and honour, we earned our food, we were not freeloaders. We were poor but we were honest: we had integrity.

Cut to 2026.

So who have proved to be India’s ‘Permanent Liability’ cadging off the state and living on unearned money? Nehru Dynasty.
