My Play of the Day☢️
Jose Quintana 4.5 Ks “U”
(-135)DK
❤️IF YOU WANT ANOTHER PROP IN 60 MINS!
Quintana gets the start for game 3 of the Wildcard series as the Mets currently are tied 1-1 in the series and will look to close out this series with a win tonight as they face elimination. Quintana just faced this Brewers lineup on 9/28 and recorded 9 Ks allowing 5 hits but only could somehow manage 4.1 innings of work while still throwing 92 pitches. Very pointless game for the Brewers though as MIL already had clenched postseason play, I expect this to be massively different today.
This Brewers lineup has some K targets but with their backs against the wall I expect more of an agressive approach similar to what we saw and cashed with Manaea yesterday, and it’s obviously in our favor the fact that they were able to just see Quintana so recently and should be much more successful at doing so as Quintana will have the shortest leash known to man with elimination hovering near the horizon.
Books have Quintana without a PO line which obviously shows a very short leash. This Mets pen will be all hands on deck as their season could end tonight. Likely a short leash and in postseason play I’ll trust a team as gritty as the Brewers to minimize K’s and to run up productive ABs,
Posted in Winible/Discord last night, but this is still playable even with some juice.
@DDuggan21 I’m hoping we can sign him to a two year deal with incentives. I don’t know if it fully makes sense to get him just for the rest of the year. Coming back from ACLs are hit and miss
