@WizardsNextUp@onballcreator I think Cam Boozer solves all the problems you mentioned while also providing much better rebounding, playmaking, and overall defense
This is not targeted at Tyler’s tweet, but I’m seeing a lot of coping about Darryn Peterson’s playmaking and some people are refusing to acknowledge reality.
Darryn Peterson's playmaking numbers were flat out bad this year.
12.5 AST%
1.0 AST:TO
1.6 AST/G
And I really don't care at all. He wasn't perfect but was still very good at using his scoring gravity, making quick decisions, and finding open teammates. With Peterson excluded, Kansas shot 51.3% from 2 (200th) and 33.6% from 3 (189th). He's not a PG but he's a much better passer than the numbers suggest. To get an assist, the other guy has to make the shot.

Because Jalen Brunson is on the verge of leading the Knicks to their first Finals appearance since 1999, it really got me thinking about AJ Dybantsa. Efficient self-created two-point scoring paired with functional three-point willingness and playmaking can still anchor elite offenses. When a player consistently pressures the paint, maintains efficiency, manipulates help defenses, and creates secondary advantages for teammates, they have the potential to become a real and sustainable offensive engine.
And this isn’t even hating on Carmelo. They’re both very good players with different skillsets. I think people would be surprised by some of the underlying numbers that make them appear closer than most might think.
It’s a lot of kids on this app who didn’t watch Carmelo Anthony play in the Garden and that’s ok.
I get Brunson is having an insane run but can we actually talk about surpassing someone after the finals. They up 1-0 and dumb ass bot accounts talking bout he’s better than one of the best pure scorers of all time.
Did the Israelites merit their salvation when they physically applied the blood of the lamb to their doorposts? Could one Israelite boast to another that their firstborn was spared because they performed the action of applying the blood?
