@cartujakds I'm afraid in my opinion he is a husk. Great 1980s hope of socialist thinkers in the country who then sold out under Blair and is now a nodding dog in the service of a billionaire.
His appointment will be of no consequence.
@Detroit67Book@StJohnstone No having your Saints insight, I defer to your choices. There's a lot of talent in there, but I still think a team is grown organically, & the 70s team of Hall, McGarry, Aird, Rooney & Aitken are IMO their greatest and most feared - despite not having the success of recent sides
Phase 1 of Dermott's exit plan complete. "I know I said I'd never sell, but those nasty communists in the fan-base are terrorising me"
Gerry Anderson sending out Mike Mercury to test the waters
@PJG_Sport Ralston gets ridiculous abuse from a section of the Celtic support - from people who look neither at the numbers nor the pitch. IMO he's a quality player. Excellent passer of the ball and deadly with the right guy ahead of him.
@PJG_Sport As a fourteen year traumatised in Milan in 1970, yesterday barely compares, but it is sad that Celtic's affairs have been so badly mismanaged. So badly in fact that it's extremely difficult to put it down to incompetence. 2021 was poorly handled. This is MUCH worse
Celtic manager most definitely and bleedin' obviously does not have the players onside, but that's not fatal in itself. I know first hand that Strachan was not at all popular at the start of his tenure, and that worked out ok. Of course Nancy is not Strachan
Also worth pointing out that when the Celtic board decide to feck it up, they go absolutely all in :-)
No half measures there. Poster boys for scorched earth.
You have to say a huge 'Chapeau' to St. Mirren. That was a fairly comfortable cup final win, which gives the players more time to enjoy the moments leading up to the final whistle.
Downside perhaps is that they may well lose the manager now. Hope not.
Magnificent anniversary for the redoubtable @cairney2.
60 years to the day he signed for Celtic and started on a very short path to a barely believable glory.

I think the Rubicon has been crossed in terms of folk abandoning this platform. Been waiting to see who or what would be the replacement of choice.
We'll now be at

Hope to see you there. Give us a follow and we'll follow you back
I think the fact that Welby said Jeremy Corbyn repulsed him on the eve of an election yet was happy to turn a blind eye to a prolific child abuser says all u need to know about him ๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค
@tirnaog_09@CelticStarMag Was there last year. Wonderful unaccompanied stroll all over the place. Sadly this year everyone has to be escorted because some dickwad ripped the plaque off the Celtic dressing room wall and tried to nick it. Security apologetic, but understandably have to ensure safety.
Sky News posted the truth about Israeli football hooligans in Amsterdam - and then deleted it.
They then posted disinformation instead.
This underlines how the Western media is lying to you.
Something is going to have to give.
