You are right, and hopefully with humility, we march forward with repentance failing daily to keep those commandments. yesterday I was irritated with my teenage daughter I was pushing back on something I had asked her to do and raised my voice. Today and probably slept in a little too late. Every day is a struggle against our flesh. sometimes the things that do seem right to us but in the end they lead to death. (paraphrased Proverbs 14:12). Jesus Christ, and the never-changing holy word of God has got to be our North Star. I've got three teenagers at home and I tell young parents often if anyone as a parent pretends that they've got it all together and know exactly what they're supposed to do all the time, they're in big big trouble.
