Congrats to Semmy Badenhop who won the National Championship at the Project MFG National Machining League Competition! Along with the title of National Champion, Semmy also took home a $10,000 check! Mr. Trout and the rest of the SWWC is very proud!

Saline Senior, Cody Stedman has been named the Michigan Journalist of the Year! Cody competed for the Student Journalist Staff through the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association (MIPA) and will now go on to compete in the National Journalist of the Year contest
Video News Production (VNP) senior Cody Stedman recently shadowed Jason Colthorp at Local 4 in Detroit. Cody gained hands-on experience on what being an anchor entails and observed how the morning team of producers, anchors, & reporters meet and recommend ideas for news packages

Madison Esterline, a second-year student in the SWWC Careers in Education program, is showcasing her natural gift for teaching! Here she's engaging her 2nd grade class with a lesson she prepared on verbs. We can't wait to see her thrive as an elementary teacher after graduation!
Two recent graduates from our CIM program, Rex Schreck and Nate Hardy , are paving the way as the next generation of manufacturing. They are enrolled in the Zoller Apprenticeship Program, earning a degree at Washtenaw Community College and working towards a career with Zoller!
Health Science students attended the American Heart Association (BLS) training. This course is designed to teach the necessary skills to respond to emergencies involving multiple life-threatening medical situations. Students are now certified in CPR, AED usage, & basic first aid!
The SWWC Advanced Photography class participated in the Washtenaw Community College photography immersion program. Students had the opportunity to learn the nuances of lighting, understand good composition, and learn how to create compelling portraits that resonate with emotion
