I am so deeply disturbed with the amount of Republicans still attacking Erika Kirk, I’ll share this about myself that I never have before; when my mother died I never cried at her funeral and chose to continue not to do so until I became a man.

When my brother died I went out and partied and travel across the country to try to run from the pain. During those deaths I appeared to be the happiest in my life and everyone believed it but I was miserable inside.

Everyone else in my family was crying and broken and they even were confused about the way I handled the deaths but I was hurting too but I grieve by being stronger for them now that they left me than I would be with them here. I’m saying all that to say this, nothing about how Erika is handling Charlie’s death is odd to me.

I can’t imagine if I had the eyes on me she does during those deaths in my life. Everyone would think I was cruel and sadistic despite dying inside. Please take a second to think before judging her. She is a grieving widow and NOBODY can dictate how she does so.
