You allow us to block certain countries from our business pages, now we request that you give us the same option for our groups, @Facebook & @Meta. These are all scammers. We should be able to click on these locations & see what members are from there so that we can ban them.

@ScammersWatch Sad to hear. From my personal experience, people don’t care until they have already been scammed & they still won’t share information that could potentially help others. I spend hours upon hours, making informative posts about scammers on Facebook & I’m lucky if I get one “like.”

@stopthescamnow @facebook @Meta Yes, you are correct. You can only report them if they are on Facebook and, in all honesty, Facebook still doesn’t do anything about them. Facebook doesn’t care about anything except making money.

I really wish that @Facebook & @Meta would come up with a better review system for these scam groups that are constantly being reported. I have reported *countless* scammer groups. I know that it is futile but I hope that one day, something will change. 🧵

I have reported so many “for adoption” scam posts on @Facebook & @Meta & they NEVER get taken down. I have reported posts that say “puppies for sale” & crickets. Why aren’t these posts being removed? It goes against YOUR community standards. Please do something. Make a change.

So, as long as the group isn’t a designated “buy & sell” group, scammers can still offer their fake pets for adoption? Please clarify this for me @Facebook & @Meta because there are millions of pages & groups, on your platform, with “for adoption” in the name & used on the posts.

All ANIMAL groups, pages & posts that have the terms “for sale,” “for adoption” & “for rehoming” should automatically be removed from @Facebook & @Meta with *ONE* report as they go against your own community standards but, alas, even hundreds of reports do not get them removed.

It’s painfully obvious which groups are scam groups and @Facebook & @Meta still refuse to do anything about them. This scam group has 10K members and this is one of the smaller cat scammer groups. Ugh. There are so many. Please do something. #scamalert

I focus my attention on FB pet scammers & even though I don’t post much, here, on Twitter I am always “working.” I focus mostly on puppy scams but I have taken a break from puppies & have begun finding kitten scammers. Holy bleep @Facebook & @Meta.. please get this under control.

I’m getting tired of fighting off the scammers in my groups @Meta & @Facebook. Can we please get an option to block certain countries from finding our groups? You allow us to block countries on our business pages, it should be the same for groups. The scammers are out of control.

This is a huge scammer group on @Facebook & @Meta & the admin has a bunch of his scammer buddies leaving fake testimonials so that people fall for the scam. When are you going to do something about these THOUSANDS of scammer groups on your platform? #scam

It infuriates me that @Facebook & @Meta won’t take these posts down. This is a scammer, but even if it weren’t, selling animals on their platform is against their community standards. Why aren’t these being removed after several reports? 😡

This is “Lisa Ann.” “Lisa Ann” stole photos of a family, including photos of children. “Lisa Ann” promotes a scammer group on Facebook. “Lisa Ann” has been reported to @Facebook & @Meta. “Lisa Ann” won’t be removed because Facebook doesn’t care. #scamalert
