The cat is out of the bag - Amazon VPC Lattice is now in Preview. If you're re:invent, come say hi at NET215 on Friday at Caesars Forum, or either of the NET212 chalk talks on application networking best practices. If the session is full, I'll be hanging out afterward.
Join me Thursday on Twitch. I’ll be talking about how to ditch those expensive MPLS networks and building a global corporate network on AWS. Scale efficiently and take advantage of the pay-as-you-go model to gain cost efficiency.

@labeveryday And if anyone wants to learn more about building resilient networks on AWS, join me at re:Invent in NET306 where we will break down the do’s and don’t’s of resilience in AWS networking. </shameless plug>
The first app I built was in php to do metering and billing on a circuit. I gave my boss his password and his response was “why can’t I use my AD password”. I didn’t know how to do that but I did it. It’s not about what you know how to build but knowing you can figure it out.

Do you have a DR plan? Have you executed it end to end?
“Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” -Mike Tyson
If you have a DR plan but haven’t run it end to end to test, you just have a DR idea.
CI/CD pipelines for DNS??? Who would do that??? You should!
With AWS you get to deploy infrastructure as code and that means you can use CI/CD principles for your infrastructure. Managing Amazon Route 53 with CI/CD means change control, versioning, and other wins. Link in 🧵.
Will you be at AWS re:Inforce next week in Boston? Join me in NIS351, where we will get hands on with automating Amazon VPC Managed Prefix Lists population and synchronization from various source resources including Security Groups, a BGP route server, and more.
Thank you to @_EvgenyVaganov_@lauramcai@ERNESTOSALASG and @TheScottNet for dropping some amazing info in todays Space!
