Yesterday, on #WorldObesityDay, we were delighted to hold a parliamentary event highlighting the discrepancy in weight management services across England and the urgent need for equitable access to support. Tackling obesity requires coordinated action, it's time for change.
What a weird and wonderful book. Here are my thoughts on Alasdair Gray's Poor Things, paired with @WaterkloofWines' totally delicious 'Circumstance'.

At the start of the year, I began a project in which I pair the books I'm reading with the wines I'm learning about.
Weathering by Ruth Allen was one of the first and one that will stick with me for a very long time.

๐ป๐บFresh Water For Flowers by @valerieperrin_ is an extraordinary read.
A love story. A grief story. A mystery. A romance. A poetic exploration of human resilience but so lightly told. A โbittersweet dream of a bookโ.

@SophieRunning I went to an amazing talk at Hay last year about Amazing Grace Adams by Fran Littlewood and Broken Light by Joanne Harris which had them discussing how โwomen of a certain ageโ (their term) are far from invisible and boring. Highly recommend both!
