@ItsKonBaby @Shokio_YT Which is honestly weird since his lore has him as a god, hes honestly a very weak god in practice. When you actually fight him hes basically just a guy in power armor with some cool magic, nothing really impressive about him.

@ItsKonBaby @Shokio_YT And doomguy was noticeably weak to abilities like this. Also Samus equally does have spacetime manipulation in reference to different dimensions, same as Davoth.

So far Davoths only powers that put him above samus are his creation ones which he didnt use in his fight much

@ItsKonBaby @Shokio_YT Based off feats alone imma be real, Davoths power displayed is massively nerfed in comparison to what the lore says about him.

Based off purely feats Samus is entirely comparable, also complexity doesnt really seem to matter when it comes to the effects of yanking a soul

Doomguys, soul, his mind (a weakness exploited in eternal and dark ages), his suit and weapons, and his very biology.

Thats every one of doomguys weaknesses in one ability

@ItsKonBaby @Shokio_YT Davoths main ability which makes up like 90% of his power is the ability to interact with essence... soul power.. and manipulate it allowing for most of his other powers.

What's one of Samus abilities? The exact same thing

Forcefield negation
Antimatter and space time manipulation.... and finally done.

Freezing (absolute zero)

Phazon manip which is life, souls, minds, technology, and biology manipulation

@ItsKonBaby @Shokio_YT Also adding weirdly Samus is actually very comparable to doomguy, example being shes actually WAY faster.

Ridley was able to keep up with Samus' spaceship which crossed an entire galaxy, and she can keep up with him.

She also withstood the energy to freeze a star

@ItsKonBaby @Shokio_YT I mean on that same note Samus on her own caused the extinction of several entire races with a kill count of the tens of thousands easily, is nigh unkillable at this point except through extreme cold damage and even with that she has suits that resist that now.

@serenade_sun Like you've got this massive franchise, a million ways to spin it and millions of dollars. A (mostly) loyal fan basis, hundreds of developers, years of time, basically the dream setup for any developer anywhere...

And you make a remake of a old game. Congrats man

@serenade_sun I mean if we want to be real, remakes are quite literally big companies leeching off nastalgia to make a quick buck.

They are quite literally using the skin off a old game and wearing it ontop of entirely new gameplay in order to use nostalgia to prop up their company

The complaint is that we dont care about modern visuals, we find this general style boring, uninspired, and uninteresting.

This is backed up by games in this style... failing near constantly
