@AriWasserman Shocked. Stunned. Angry. Confused. Was this the same Ohio State team we watched all season? How they were coached and played today just feels so out of place.
.@spotify ‘s AI is lousy because it only recognizes empirical data that can be digitized, like the genre or the year the songs were made, but it fails at aesthetics like mood and emotion. Music choice is an emotional thing that AI can’t measure.
Apparently @ThatKevinSmith did such a good job rebooting “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back” with “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot” that streaming services are getting them confused. Just watched “Reboot” even though the search said it was “Strike Back.” All this meta has my head spinning
As you get older you begin to understand why your grandparents talked about having regular bowel movements so strongly.
Also, the Senior’s Menu begins to make a lot of sense.
You younger folk need to appreciate your ability to willy-nilly eat as much of whatever you want.
@Talk_To_The_Hat Aww I’m very sorry. He was adored on this app and so many will miss his wit and presence. He made so, so many people smile when they needed to. I just read where you, C, lost your father also and I cannot imagine how this is for you. I wish you all peace and love.
After last week’s Aurora I keep checking the sky at night even though I know I’m not going to see it.
Kind of like a dog that finds some surprise food outside and will keep checking that spot for the rest of its life.
We did have a surprisingly good sunset this cloudy eve
For those of you interested in ancient history, I learned to drive in a 1979 Lincoln Continental Town Car. The really big one. 1979 was the last model year they made the behemoth Continentals. They were downsized and built on the Ford LTD frame from 80 on.
They could eliminate sales taxes and corporations would just raise prices to cover it so you’d still pay the same at the checkout.
And then keep raising them because they can because there’s virtually no competition in any markets and they often act in collusion.
The president of the United States, no matter who they are nor which political party they belong to, has zero control over the prices of groceries, gasoline, nor anything else.
Prices are controlled by the greedy kings of capitalism.
I don’t like these new fangled washers and dryers that have computer chips and sensors in them. I miss our old “dumb” dryer that would keep running even after it caught on fire.
