WV lawmaker & chair of @WVDemocrats, @pushkinforhouse filed a criminal complaint against the president of the @WVYoungDems for $948.61 in printing, website hosting, and registration fees.

Witnesses contradicted the complaint. Prosecutors kept the case open for 18 months anyway.

While the criminal investigation remained open, Pushkin, then 54, filed paperwork with the @wvsosoffice naming himself the chair of the WVYD and secured a charter from @youngdems.

For the first time since McCain-Feingold in 2002, @TheDemocrats and the YDA are directly connected.

@paulajean2020 @wvdemocrats Don't forget that in 2024 WVDP Vice Chair for CD2 Cody Thompson openly campaigned against @maryannclaytor, one of the highest performing statewide Dems in 2024 on a fraction of their money. She was denied polling opportunities. Denied voter files. This is not the way to lead.

@paulajean2020 @wvdemocrats 2022 delivered the single most devastating election in West Virginia Democratic history.

In 2024 WV Democrats performed worse than any other state's Democrats.

Senate: 82% of seats (11 → 2)
