If his days as a member of the Dallas Stars is over, Jamie Benn is likely going to take a pay cut to chase a Stanley Cup.
One team that makes a lot of sense? The Colorado Avalanche.
Benn steps in as a 4C on a 1x1 - chases the cup thatโs alluded him his whole career.
@tyler_divido33 Well some of those contracts are impossible to off load if you want to keep contending but you can replace the coach to put some fire in the room
He can be a great coach and it would still be the right decision to get a new voice in there , this core was supposed to have multiple cups, if they don't get it done with this squad a new coach is in order.
If that's the way you see it sure, I've been a massive Bednar defender and I'm not saying this WCF is on him completely but this group was too good to get beat like this in the biggest series of the season. Coaching is the one thing that you can change quickly enough and see results. He's an elite coach but that doesn't mean he stays
You know I've had time to sit with the loss last night. And I feel worse about it, I could feel better about the series if they would hit the net but we all know that won't happen so
@FightingS1oux I'm sure other teams miss but the Avs just straightiss when they beat the D and goalie they shoot themselves next to the foot. And I have grown tired of the D core theyre all playing up because Cale is out
