"Death in A Minor Key" aired on #TheShadow radio on June 2, 1946. It was the 39th episode in the 9th season. It's a pretty good episode! #TheShadowKnows

"Spider Boy" (1947) and "The Demon of Devil's Cove" (1952) both aired on #TheShadow radio on June 1. "Spider Boy" is one of my least favorite episodes. I haven't listened to "The Demon of Devil's Cove" yet. #TheShadowKnows

#TheShadowKnows "Auction Of Death" was aired on #TheShadow radio on May 31, 1953. It was the 38th episode of the 16th season and is listed as a lost episode. Too bad, because you can bid on me listening to "Auction Of Death" if it was available! 😂

Retailers began to receive & display #DickTracy merchandise by late May 1990. Bloomingdale's, Macy's, & JC Penny opened Dick Tracy Boutiques in their stores. While Toys R Us, Kmart, & Wal-Mart became official Dick Tracy Headquarters with more affordable items. #DickTracy30

On May 30, #TheShadow radio aired 2 episodes: "Ruby of Karvahl" (1948) and "Master Of Torture" (1954). I haven't listened to "Master of Torture" but "Ruby of Karvahl" is a good story with good plot twists about a cursed ruby! #TheShadowKnows

Did you know that Walter B. Gibson created the character named Norgil the Magician? Not only did Gibson write the vast majority of #TheShadow stories, he also penned over 20 short-stories featuring Norgil. https://t.co/ACpqwbF4Rk

[Lamont Cranston @TheShadow1931]

#TheShadow radio aired 2 episodes on May 29th! First was "The Creeper" (1938) and the second was "Monkey Woman" in 1949. I've heard "The Creeper" episode and it's a good one! I'm going to have to listen to "Monkey Woman" - it sounds interesting! #TheShadowKnows

Walter B. Gibson may be the most prolific writer ever.
Writing 2 Shadow pulps a month, radio shows, editing Seven Circles (a journal of magic), The Shadow Comics, and even a Barry Goldwater biography comic.
He holds the record for most words written on any fictional subject.
