on the topic of weather I captured some pretty sick looking red lightning May 23rd of this year. Can anyone in the weather community explain to me how lightning turns into this deeper red colour instead of the average purple-ish colour? I also heard no thunder from this storm.

a rotating thunder storm. I never posted these videos but I figured i’d post them now. The wind was some of the strongest i’ve ever felt and there were 2 EF1 tornadoes that touched down in Barrhaven that day.
