@Dork4Short They have the opportunity to do the funniest thing and make Aerith's death in the original a reprint of Grievous Wounds and I am ALL here for it.
That's a very narrow mana rock in the rakdos precon, but one that could do a lot of work in the right decks. More previews at https://t.co/bDO43kNfmE

@Dork4Short I can't be the only one that sees this and doesn't think some creepy singsong rendition of the Pinocchio song.
"I had strings...but now I'm free...
There are no strings on me..."
@Dork4Short A missed opportunity to add Blood Tokens to green's repertoire of Token Shenanigans™, ultimately upgrading the archetype to Token Fuckery™ but we do love to see it.
It's also too bad that it's not legendary as I'd love to make a dedicated EDH deck to them.
Oh well, rule 0.
@Dork4Short I want to like this card but to me, all it screams is budget Jodah or Fist of the suns.
Might see some play in Morphon, Jodah the Unifier or Eldrazi decks since it can possibly come out for free, but that's unfortunately about it
@SpicyEncounters Nah. Nanaki from FF7.
Around strangers: Old, Wise, Sage-like authority.
Around friends: Typical kid that's just trying to sound cool around the adults.
However, the hilarity of Danny Devito yelling "I'M THE TRASH MAN" as a raccoon spirit when entering combat isn't lost on me.
@Dork4Short Oh man, The Master, Transcendent is going to be eating GOOD with this set.
Hedron Crab and Ruin Crab with this is going to be straight GAS.
@Dork4Short Oh, that is -immediately- slotting into my Third Doctor/Sarah Jane Smith deck.
"Yeah, I'm going to tap Niko, exiling Tireless Provisioner for two copies, play a land, generate two treasures, play Harrow to search more lands, Third Doctor is up to 17/17 - where did everyone go?"
