According to @MikeStrawMedia, many devs who knew about the stuff coming to College Football 27 were “livid” about it for months

He says “Even future single-player-only titles will have more monetization options enabled.” This is no longer about just CFB 27

EA has responded, but sounds like they’re gonna stand firm for now and double down on the changes with micro transactions

They’re also using creators to push their messaging without making a statement themselves or addressing anything

“the core coach level progression is unchanged from CFB 26” true, but normal is way too slow, and you REMOVED 2 faster settings

They acknowledge “Fast/Faster Coach Progression was removed from Dynasty,” 0 update on a plan to bring it back

ZERO mention of removing XP sliders from Road to Glory either

“continuing to monitor community feedback” basically meaning we don’t wanna make a change because we think it’ll blow over lmao

They gave us the EXACT SAME Hat Selection screen, HS Experience, HS random pop ups, and overall RTG experience with just a few new positions then made it absolutely unplayable with micro transactions. In no world if I pick a 5 star prospect and am ranked #1 in the country would I come into college at a 74 overall. Last year you started as a 80 overall, could change XP sliders and pre order bonuses alone would get you to 86-88 easily before week 1.

The game is ruined and it’s only gunna get worse from here on.

It feels like EA intentionally hid micros transactions into dynasty as a slow roll out so it could continue to get worse in the future

I asked a dev if it was an early access bug that the fast and fastest option was missing, heard nothing back

I still haven’t even found the screen to buy coach XP in Dynasty there’s no buttons to show it. Also apparently they took away custom XP sliders in Road to Glory too?

I don’t like the direction on this. I already said the MVP+ Membership was an awful idea, you shouldn’t have to buy Madden too if you want all the early college benefits

I am more scared our single player modes could be hit with heavy micro transactions since Ultimate Team is clearly not what college cares about

Also Drew said more in a reply about what early access capture was like this year… yeah way more anal than previous ones. More stressful than fun. Idc to do it again if it’s like that
