This is really lovely from Norway’s coach, Ståle Solbakken.

After the win, he ran to the stands to kiss and hug his wife.

Guys please watch Norway’s documentary on Netflix, I watched it few days ago.

This guy literally retired as a footballer after dying for 7mins. Yes, his heart stopped beating.

In the documentary, they narrated how he left his wife at home, dropped his kid at school, and went to training. He was playing for Copenhagen then.

During training, he collapsed and that was it. The club doctor saved his life with some cardiac massage before ambulance showed up.

The club sent some people to his house to tell his wife, she couldn’t believe her ears. Imagine your husband leaving the house few moments ago, and you hear a knock on your door that your husband just collapsed, she was devastated.

I think till date, he still has something connected to his heart, maybe a pacemaker or something like that.

After this incident, he retired from football at 33.

The headache of qualifying Norway to the World Cup after 28 years and a major tournament after 26 years is also a lot, especially when you think of Scotland breaking his heart in the last minute that prevented them from going to the last Euros.
