Can Trump please learn from emperor Ashoka?

Yesterday Trump spoke and promised more war - devastating Iran, keeping poor people all over the world hostage.

Why not learn from the best? Ashoka is a unique figure in history. Living from 304 to 232 in what is today Bihar, India 🇮🇳.

He was the brilliant military leader who won big victories in the Kalinga wars.

But later he was also the emperor who repented violence and started reflecting over the deaths and destruction of war. He dedicated his life to a peaceful world and to spiritual uplifting of the people of the Maurya empire

I recently spent time in the splendid new Bihar Museum in Patna. The museum tells the story of Ashoka, his dedication to the people of Bharat and to the Buddha.

It’s such a beautiful story! Can someone please tell Trump?
