norris starts an unauthorised formation lap = nothing
mercedes changes tyre pressures and get caught = nothing
zhou impedes max on a hot lap in spa q1 = nothing
sainz crossed pit entry in vegas = nothing
max drives slowly on a slow lap = GRID DROP + PENALTY POINT
@oscarshearteyes you were very dismissive in your first tweet (anyone who has a different opinion to you "just" has recency bias) & you should own up to that. instead of playing innocent that you "just" said your opinion when people push back. you did more than that.
@oscarshearteyes @M4XANDRIST you didn't "just" say that. you declared that people with a different opinion suffer from recency bias. that's dismissive and reductive on your part. especially when a quite a few of those people were actually around to watch those drivers live or even work/race with them.
there’s two different quotes of max going around right now due to the motorsportcom post. as these come from the dutch media, i’ll translate them:
“if i drove for ferrari (in 2024) my performance would’ve been a bit similar to right now at redbull.”
“in 2022 [winning the championship] would’ve been more difficult, because ferrari was a bit too fragile at that moment.”
@zachhlambert@RBR_Daily Definitely hope so, but I doubt it. Even if RB started working on it then, at that point, they were dominant so they thought they were on the right track. It wasn't until much later into this season that RB realized they took the wrong development path as early as Spain 2023.
Max Verstappen won the drivers' championship with two races to spare in one of the most competitive grids ever while driving a car that had this kind of pace advantage.
Zero doubt about it, 2024 was a legacy-defining championship season by Verstappen.
@SpiderManINBS @RBR_Daily If true: it'd let them to run their car lower. Lower car = faster. But there are rules about how low the car can be (which is why a bunch of cars got DQ for it last year) due to safety. So the plates would allow teams to run their cars lower than what's actually allowed
@DjihaneHajimaaa @theidyllicstar@SCUDERIAFEMBOY Kelly posted a photo of a kitten to her stories. But she and Max didn't get another cat. The kitten belongs to Max's manager Raymond and his wife
@jctrxx will either break him or make him better. The last 3 races of this season will be veryyy interesting and telling. I wouldn't be surprised if Oscar beats Lando next year, but I personally wouldn't write Lando off yet. But either way, a lot of his fans will be insufferable 3/.
@jctrxx I'm not a Lando fan (like at all) but there were team orders for Lando like at most a handful of times this year. Oscar also benefitted from team orders too. Even if you account for team orders, Lando's beating Oscar in every single H2H metric this year. Oscar's only in his 1/?
@jctrxx 2nd year of course, so he’ll definitely improve. But a lot of y’all are already acting like Oscar is already better than Lando or it’s guaranteed that Oscar will surpass Lando. Lando’s pretty young, so I think he could also improve to some extent. Lando fumbling this season 2/?
@johntaylors5 @ItzMaxiel@formularacers_ Franco's junior results were similar. Good, but nothing special. Then he surprised people in F1. What you said about Jack literally applied to Franco as well.
